Thank you for taking the time to
visit our web site. SMS has been in business for over 25 years. In
those years, we have become the world's largest supplier of
original and reproduction auto upholstery cloths, vinyls, and leathers for
American cars from the 1940s through the 1980s. Our warehouses
stock the world's largest inventory of automobile cloth and vinyl, with about one million yards of these original-type
materials.
In addition, we have the capability to reproduce the beautiful
cloth automotive fabrics from the 1950s, '60s and '70s on our
own looms! Many of these fabrics have been unavailable to
automobile restorers for years!
To complement these fabrics, we have developed the expertise to
remake almost all automotive vinyls and leathers in their
correct original color and grain. Our ability to supply cloth,
leather and vinyl for your automobile is unparalleled in the
restoration industry.
Along with the fabrics, vinyls, and leathers, SMS Auto Fabrics
leads the market in the manufacture of interior door panels
for '50s and '60s cars. We're not just talking about late-60s
muscle cars and top of the line convertibles. SMS has the
capability to custom-make door panels for virtually all '50s and '60s
American cars. From convertibles to sedans to station wagons, we
can do them all.
The machinery we use to make door panels can also be used to
make the heat-stamped vinyl embossings often found on seats in
'50s and '60s cars. By reproducing these vinyl seat sections in
an economical manner, we are able to offer the automobile
restorer a "finishing touch" that was never before available.
Again, because we custom-make these pieces, we are able to
supply them for almost all '50s and '60s cars.
It should be mentioned that custom manufacturing takes time. Our
reproduction seat cloths, vinyls, heat embossings, and door
panels can often take many weeks (even months) to produce. It is
always a good idea to order the items needed for your car well
in advance of your anticipated installation date.
In summary, whatever your automotive interior restoration
problem, SMS Auto Fabrics should have your solution.
Sincerely,
Doug Pollock
